A letter that our
board's president (at the time) posted in at least 2 locations in our building's
lobby. The date was October 8, 2007, less than 1 week before our AGM.

MISLEADING INFORMATION
I have been advised that persons have been spreading information throughout the
building to the effect that an owner had requested information from
Matthew and
the Board, to which she was entitled, and been told that the price for this
information would be $2,500.00.
This is a gross distortion of the facts.
The subject request came from a former Board member. It requested information
concerning the duties and salaries of building staff and was provided to her.
It also requested that Matthew please list: "What maintenance work is contracted
out to other sources outside of the superintendent and his assistants. Please list the
companies and individual names which provided any contract work. - A monthly
breakdown from 2000 to present of expenditures for contracted work."
Matthew's reply stated: "After reviewing your request with the President of
G.S. Atkin Property Management Specialists Inc. it was determined that it will take
approximately 50 extra hours to gather, detail and copy the information
requested."
"Please send a certified cheque payable to PCC 98 in the amount of $2,500.00 as a
down payment for the information requested. An hourly log will be kept to ensure
that the final billing is accurate. Once the down payment has been received, we
will commence work on gathering, detailing and copying the information
requested."
